At Project Read, professionally trained volunteer tutors provide free one-on-one tutoring to English-speaking adults who want to improve their basic reading and writing skills. Project Read has trained more than 4,000 volunteers who have helped an equal number of adult learners identify personal literacy goals, improve their skills, and enhance their lives.
